Meet Jane

Hello and welcome.

I’m Jane Chesworth, founder of the breath sanctuary, with my in-person breathing studio based in Wrexham, North Wales.

If you’ve found your way here, perhaps life has asked too much of you for too long.

Perhaps you’ve spent years holding everything together for everyone else.

Perhaps you’ve become so used to keeping going that you’ve forgotten what it feels like to truly rest — or even what it feels like to simply be yourself.

If so, you’re in the right place.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt life deeply.

I sensed what wasn’t being said as much as what was. I absorbed the emotions and energy around me, and I learnt to keep going, to be strong and to look as though I was coping, while quietly becoming more disconnected from myself.

Over time, that way of living took its toll.

My nervous system rarely settled.
My mind rarely became still.

And somewhere beneath the responsibility, the people-pleasing and the constant doing, I lost touch with the woman I truly was.

Everything began to change when I discovered the breath.

Not simply because I learnt to breathe differently, but because I learnt to listen differently.

I began to understand my body rather than fight against it. As I experienced more moments of safety and regulation, old patterns began to soften and beliefs that had quietly shaped my life began to loosen.

The constant striving gradually gave way to something I hadn’t felt for years.

Space.
Peace.
Clarity.

And the more I returned to my body, the more I began to rediscover my own inner wisdom.

I came to understand that healing isn’t necessarily about becoming somebody new.

Sometimes it is about remembering who you have always been beneath the layers life has placed upon you.

That journey has shaped everything I now offer through the breath sanctuary.

My work brings together the breath, nervous system regulation, body-led practices and the release of long-held patterns and beliefs. It is about helping people reconnect with themselves — creating the conditions in which they can feel supported, experience greater safety within their body and begin to trust themselves again.

Alongside this, my own journey has deepened my trust in intuition, presence and the quiet wisdom that lives within each of us.

I honour that every person’s experience is unique.

I honour that every person’s experience is unique.

Some people arrive looking for practical support because they feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted or unable to switch off.

Some have spent years appearing to cope while quietly feeling that something within them has become lost or disconnected.

Some come carrying the effects of difficult or traumatic experiences, perhaps from childhood or from other times in their lives. My work is trauma-informed, with an understanding that our experiences can shape not only the way we think and feel, but the way our nervous system responds to the world around us. This is why my work is never simply about changing the way you breathe. It is about understanding the whole person — the breath, the body, the nervous system and the patterns that may have developed over time — and meeting you where you are, with safety, choice and compassion at the heart of the work.

And others find themselves wanting to explore something deeper — a greater connection with themselves, their intuition and the wisdom within.

There is no right way.
Only your way.

My role is not to tell you who to become.

It is to meet you where you are and create a space where you can begin to listen to what your body has been trying to tell you, release what you are ready to let go of, reconnect with your authentic self and rediscover the wisdom and quiet strength that have always lived within you.

Whether you arrive here looking for calm, healing, clarity, connection — or simply somewhere you can finally exhale — you are deeply welcome.

This is your place to pause.

To breathe.

To remember.

And to come home to yourself.

With love,
Jane x

I am here to encourage you and show you the way…

to find your breath that leads you back to yourself

with gentleness, compassion, and courage.

to allow your body to release what it no longer needs

and open up to the calm it has always deserved.

As you soften, I want you to you feel the quiet truth of it all —

you are here to be the full power you !

At The Breath Sanctuary,

In this space, you are invited to reconnect with your body, settle your breath and rediscover the wisdom that has always lived within you.

Everything we do is grounded in an understanding of the nervous system and shaped by the body’s innate ability to heal.

Through breath, nervous system regulation, belief release and body-led practices, we create the conditions for your body to feel safe enough to let go of what no longer serves you.

Old patterns begin to soften.

Limiting beliefs begin to loosen.

Your nervous system begins to settle.

And as those layers begin to fall away, many people rediscover a quieter mind, a deeper trust in themselves and a stronger connection to their own inner wisdom.

There is no pressure to become somebody new.

Only the opportunity to reconnect with your authentic self.

One breath at a time.
